Now for our final chapter we learn about Cicero's five canons of persuasion (invention, arrangement, style, memory and delivery). Cicero puts these five persuasions in this order because this is the order "you yourself should make your speech". When having an argument you should try the ethos (first), logos(second), and pathos(third) method; so that you can put your strongest resources at the beginning and end. Then we learn some more about virtue (proper language, elgrity, vividness, decorum, and ornament).
